Assignment 4 - Finding those interesting WWW sites...
Your fourth assignment is to browse, collect and annotate URLs that have to do with Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. Search engines are programs that periodically search the internet for available informatin, and create a database from the found items. Then, users can access the database to search for items of interest. Programs called robots are often used for this purpose. A good place to start is at Netscape's Net Search site. You may also want to view some of the sites listed in last year's Class Bookmarks (which has not been updated in over a year!). This is an ongoing assignment, which will end near the end of the semester. At that time, we will combine our lists to make them available as part of the course. In the meantime, be saving your own bookmarks!
