Graduate Studies
Approximately two-thirds of our past graduates have gone on to postdoctoral positions at major institutions and at biotech and pharmaceutical companies in North America and Europe. Of the remainder, about half have taken teaching positions at colleges and universities and half have taken permanent research or administrative positions. The postdoctoral students subsequently obtained positions in teaching and academic or industrial positions. For those interested in a professional degree, a Master of Biotechnology is offered by the Biochemistry and Molecular Biology Department, in collaboration with the Biotechnology Institute of the Huck Institutes of the Life Sciences. The Kern Graduate School has provided a resource guide for graduate students which provides detailed information on international student services, housing, disability services, etc. |
